Huangshan Mountain

The Huangshan Mountains are located in the south of Anhui Province in China. Huangshan Mountain was formerly called Yishan Mountain. The Huangshan area encompasses 154 sq km of awe-inspiring scenery.

The Huangshan Mountains are the inspiration of many artworks. The mountain range is renowned for the mystic nature that is accentuated by the clouds. Beautiful rock formations, hot springs, sculptured pine trees, waterfalls, lakes and streams combined with wildlife make this a phenomenal encounter with nature.

The Huangshan ecosystem is comprised of over 1,450 different plant species. Ten of these plants are nearing extinction. Visitors will find that 82% of the area is covered with vegetation and 56% of the area features forest trees.

The Huangshan Mountain has been called “The Best of all mountains in China.”
